it's fun to try to piece together what their new thing is.

i love this question.  

how i could have got there sooner:

+ care less about what i think the reaction will be
+ don't try make it work with the current thing
+ do the dumbest version
+ fully internalize the reality of the market 

in the upcoming release it was mostly the first two points that warped the thinking.
