We are in this weird stage in tech where new breakthroughs (AI, AR, VR, web wallets) require initial product releases that don’t meet today’s elevated UX expectations. The optimists see where we are going and are excited, but the pessimists cry failure.

AI will make the rich richer and the poor poorer I have the Early Riser role in Daylight, but I am currently unable to use the app in South Korea. When will it be available here?

I don't get the pessimists. How can you look at thousands of years of human history and not understand that the state of tech today is the worst it's going to be for the rest of your life. When you see a thing with even an ounce of value over the existing thing, you should always be asking yourself: "what would life be like if it were 10x better?" Because 10x better is just around the corner (often meaning a couple of years, but still). You don't even need to see where we're going to be optimistic, you just gotta tryst the process. Maybe you don't want to jump with two feet into everything right this second, fine, but "crying failure" feels like such an obviously bad take.
