A few afterthoughts so I don’t just repost this for no reason:

It’s been a hell of a fast year. Won the crypto lottery (kinda), visited Rwanda, met my mom and lil sis for the first time in over 2 decades and came back to Nigeria for culinary school.

I tried to capture the chaos of that journey in that montage but one video simply doesn’t do it.

It doesn’t reflect the frustration from how that meeting turned out to be or the sadness of realizing my childhood has passed.

It also doesn’t capture the “nothingness” I felt of finally having the chance to pursue something I wanted.

Nonetheless, it was a reminder.

A reminder of the fact that it is solely my responsibility to romanticise what’s ahead.

To capture the allure of my life and to document its struggles as well as the failings and triumphs.
