I've won over $20K in total from ETHDenver, Chainlink, Polygon & ETHOnline hackathons and you can do it too! 🤫 Now I'm sharing my secrets to success... 1) Recruit a Dream Team - Treat it like hiring for a startup - Don't prematurely promise someone a slot unless they are a great fit 2) Tailor your project to sponsors’ tech - The goal of sponsors is to show off their products - Think of some way to use their product in a simple but creative way 3) Plan milestones + double your time estimates - Everything takes longer than you think - Prioritize core functionality first so you at least have something you can show off to the judges 4) Lock in & build around the clock - Not gonna lie, its a grind. - But this is what champions are made of. 5) Polish your demo + pitch - Reserve ~20% of your time just to focus on the submission - It doesn't matter what you build if you don't do a good job of showing it off
