How do you answer the question  “Where are you from?” 

As an immigrant who lived in a few countries I find it quite confusing. 

I assume that the person wants to quickly understand my language/cultural background, so go with “I’m originally from …, lived in A, B, C and now I live in X.”

I still say Lithuania even though now I've lived longer outside of it than in. It's a small country so it's fun seeing people trying to place it on the map in their heads. I also usually follow up that I lived in Berlin for 6 years before coming to the US.
