I haven’t been running regularly this summer. I tried to do a 20 minute run today and was disappointed: - I couldn’t do it without a walking break - avg pace 14.3 min/mile - had some stiffness in one of my knees - something I took for granted when I was younger, now requires training in my 40s Posting here bc it’s easier to post things I feel good about and I want to balance that, and despite feeling shitty about the results, I am still satisfied I came out and tried and I know tomorrow will be easier

Wait, but all marathons start with the first step and you’ve done the hardest part - to start. Mixing running & walking is truly the best way to build up some running stamina. You got this 💪
