Where the internet is a highly decentralized medium with over 100 million nodes communicating, Bitcoin is a highly centralized subset of it, controlled by a few thousand nodes, with block production controlled by 2 mining pools and a handful of industrialized mining corporations

This is great, because it enables strict global consensus and thus an alternative global store-of-value - a multi-trillion dollar TAM, but "decentralized" it is not

There is more to decentralization than block production.

There’s the ability to run a full node (so you can easily detect fraud from the 2 mining pools if they ever tried something) and there’s the actual token distribution, which is quite decentralized.
