Fund cinematic productions that export crypto values and tokenize the ownership rights onchain. Fund music and culturally relevant art. Tokenize the ownership rights onchain. Fund brick and mortar businesses in strategically important geographical locations and tokenize them onchain. Fund new world academic institutions. Fund open source intelligence and journalism services. Fund as many positive and strategic projects as possible. Situate the industry such that it becomes so engrained, prevalent, and anti-fragile that it never needs to be concerned with politics again. Frictionless Capital Formation. Crypto’s seminal value prop.

L2s are the most sustainable block-selling businesses possible (with current tech standards). The economics are simply too powerful for any L1 to compete with, including Ethereum. An L1 cannot compete with a system that doesn't require issuance and safety quorums to sell blocks to users. I've stated this many times in the past, L2s are the future of blockchains from a first principles perspective. The role of an L1 in this picture is to serve as a source of truth for the co-existence of multitudes of L2s to settle on. This is the only long-term sustainable business model for an L1. Ethereum is the only chain making strides in this direction. In the long run, it will be so obvious that optimizing for L2s is the correct path to depend on. Path dependance matters, and Ethereum is on the right path.

The pace at which validators are signalling a gas limit increase is a testament to the decentralization of Ethereum. All the "Eth leaders" have essentially supported this increase, yet 80% of validators still haven't voted in support. It appears that the EF doesn't wield as much influence as we thought 🧐

Honestly I would love to live some place where the primary form of commute is with jet packs and hover boards! Instead of getting various forms of drivers licenses, I’d want to be able to feasibly attain a jet pack or hoverboard license 🤩
