Indeed, I would even take it to another level of abstraction and say 'clear mind'

In this context adaptability is almost equal to flexibility, being okay with changes; the opposite of being rigid. 

the second quote also reminds me of another "skill" - being intellectually honest and aim to close the gap between my personal stated and revealed preferences

I would say that empathy and adaptability are almost the same. You adapt to feel the other person's feelings.

Authenticity: I think the other day I shared a quote from Epictetus that summarizes this pretty well. I will search it and share it here.

Self-awareness is sooo important. Reflection leads us to improvement.

Self-awareness is the precursor to the rest 😄
