historic price chart is ideal. “Naked”mcap with no price doesn’t matter either

market cap by itself is certainly useful you are instantly able to compare it to any other asset (non-crypto!) you know the market cap of. market cap communicates opportunity cost / likelihood of future gain

don’t you want to know both - mcap + price? the user interface is abundant, I’m sure both figures could fit in one page and provide a stronger signal together

read the original argument price is useful if you already have a position in the asset learning about an asset you don't have a position so your comparison is to other assets, which is market cap
