I’ve always liked the idea that front ends would compete with each other.

But it seems more like the interfaces with the best distribution wins

makes sense as users and especially normies never interact with back ends lol

so a great front end and brand would win them over

Being in China, it is clear that the wechat of crypto should exist. 

Base Wallet seems to be working in this direction.

From the "fat wallet" theory to the increase of the app layer, after years of focus on infra, all indicators point in this direction.

UX is still elusive though and there aren't enough people tackling it in a meaningful manner. Fewer clicks is not good UX.
