There’s a list of people I trust in specific areas. e.g.
- history links from @july 
- book recs from @tldr  

I want to see their content, it’s useful and interesting. Algo is good for discovery but tailored to maximize my time on the app.

Agreed. I think the idea with FC is that each client (eg Warpcaster) can implement its own algo (or not)?

thanks for sharing! I would actually like to opt-out by default from all trending/popular/latest sort of feed and instead have my own list. 

But this type of feed is great for discovery, just as an opt-in option
