My 4yo son goes to school in UAE and studies there English and Arabic languages. Also I wish to save our native language. And this is sooo tricky! In Russian and English languages there are letters, that look the same, but you should pronounce them differently. Also he tries to read from right to left, as they do in arabic, and e.g. 14 he reads as four and one. And I have no idea, how to manage all this stuff. HELP!!!!🤪

He will figure it out later, automatically. 🙂 Great exercise for the brain, i guess: read and write from left to write, then from right or left. 😃

What language do you speak at home? If he watches tv/movies, what language is it in? Would it be easier to focus on verbal skills right now?

My daughter speaks three languages, but she didn't learn them when she was as young as your son, so I can't give you the advice you need🤷♀️ Just these nuts😉 🥜🥜🥜

Nobody helps you😀 sorry. 🥜🥜🥜 I have here in Germany friends, there daughters were born here and they specially chose Russian kindergarten and than primary Russian school. And only now, in their 9 and twelve they go to German school. They speak both languages as native. It’s cool! I think that may be later you need to organise lessons with Russian teachers…
