Devastated. The Friend was my all time favorite bar in LA.

Why? The best vibe. 
No line, no pretentiousness - just come on in and dance. The opposite of Tenants up the street (great business model tho to steal
away people tried of waiting in that line). 

TheeMikeB was always spinning great tunes every Saturday night. And when he wasn’t playing, he made sure whatever DJ was worthy. I’ve heard so many incredible transitions that I still remember to this day. 

The only place you could bump into a stranger and easily start a convo. 

Just being in that room with that energy was something you couldn’t get anywhere else.
