Those guys (hopefully they’re also your guys too, see my previous post) that score 8 points a week will win you games. Those are the guys you want as your flex/WR2/RB2. They’re never sexy to draft, but they’re the glue guys to your otherwise awesome roster. As long as they’re your guys. Never turn your back.

Something big to consider when crafting your teams is scoring variability. If you put their points scored each game in a season on a graph, what does it look like? Boom/bust, or flat? You want to have both on your team.πŸ‘‡

That pick ends up being doodoo (shocker). You look at your middling team halfway through the season and you don’t even like half the players. By following groupthink, you capped your ceiling by not taking swings. When everyone values a sleeper highly, you end up overpaying for what you think is β€œvalue”.
