This will be the most important FF post I ever create on this sub. Heed my words carefully. Three words that guide any noble fantasy team to victory. Get. Your. Guys. Let me explain 👇

Example:You do your off season research, determined to win it all this year. You know all the sleepers, all the round value targets.

That pick ends up being doodoo (shocker). You look at your middling team halfway through the season and you don’t even like half the players. 

By following groupthink, you capped your ceiling by not taking swings. When everyone values a sleeper highly, you end up overpaying for what you think is “value”.

This brings me to the final conclusion. Get. Your. Guys. People you think have that dog in them, that you enjoy watching, that you’re uncertain why people are fading them on the rankings.  I’m sure you think of a few names immediately when I say get your guys. Try it out this season, and let me know how it goes.

You think you just raised your chances of winning? Wrong! All you did was succumb to the groupthink of a bunch of amateurs. You just stripped away all the alpha you could have possibly had. The draft becomes harder as every decision is a monologue of “well…I really should take this guy here”.
