Experts at the CoinGecko platform studied the distribution of global traffic among the top 20 blockchains. The Solana network took first place with 38.79% of the total traffic, while Base came in second with 16.81%.
Solana has held the lead since Q1 2024. The huge interest in memecoins has played a major role in Solana's popularity. Many users choose this platform for its speed, reliability, and low fees.
Overall, the top 20 blockchains attracted 97% of all investor interest. The remaining 3% were distributed among 47 other blockchains.
