Maybe we could encourage people to cast more about what their bookish interests are and what kind of reader they are.

It may feel out off place because right now the focus is very much on the books themselves, but even recommendations can become more meaningful when you know who is behind the recommendation.

hello everyone, I'm chai. just your average reader fam, I enjoy reading mostly fiction but sometimes read about tech here and there! 

i grew up reading loads of Enid Blyton and then have been focused more towards fantasy and literary fiction. 

A big paperback fan but i have two kindles to keep me sane while on road.

writer and somewhat somewhere in crypto but ended up talking about books on farcaster 

I'm unsure if people here would know the authors I read because I try and find books which aren't hyped much. 

Some of my favorite authors, known to many, are Kristin Hannah and VE Schwab. 

I am also a book blogger and reviewer so that's what I do in my free time!
