1. diminish in prominence (📉ur bags)
2. non-financialized/communist sections break off, rebrand, maybe get absorbed in the openweb (Moz, EFF) movement.
3. fintech eats rest, regulates open innovation to death.

tldr:

this entire industry is caught in a tragedy of the commons and if we cant collectively agree on what is socially unacceptable and how to sanction that behavior, theres not gonna be an industry to build in real soon. you might have market dominance but even 100% of 0 is still 0
