I lived in this cottage for a month in the forest of British Columbia. It was the coolest place I've ever lived. BUT, it was also totally dysfunctional with so many problems and the landlord only cared about how it looked and not if it was a functional residence (i.e., none of the windows opened ). The highlight was that there were also mice living there and one ran across my head while I was sleeping. The IDEA of it was cool though. Yeah.

She was downright insane actually. She didn't have the money to fix things properly. A contractor working on the bathroom told me there was black mold in the walls there too. Definitely NOT a good thing. That is the main reason I didn't stay at least for the summer there. You don't mess with mold. It's something really dangerous to your health.
