Yes, of course. But I hope there is another way to deal with it soon. I saw you were diagnosed in recent times, as an adult. That seems unusual for type 1 diabetes, no? Do the doctors know what could have triggered it? I see there is a bionic pancreas that has been developed: https://www.betabionics.com/ I just found the link, so I don't know anything about it.

Pretty uncommon yes, but becoming more so. Impossible to determine the cause - likely was genetically predisposed and there were stress/environmental triggers but who knows really.
