How cute are those balcony holders? 🌀 I'm pretty sure the railings used to be in the similar style but were replaced with the boring metal sheets 😔 I just love apartment buildings of 1930-50s. So much character and whimsy in their architecture!

Yeah, it’s sad that aesthetic details aren’t valued. It’s easier to replace them with something new, even if it’s low quality, rather than restoring what’s already there
