NFTs in 2021 were touted for being scare and limited. NFTs in 2024 are the opposite - they are hyper accessible and unlimited. This challenges what makes them valuable but the value now comes from how widely they reach - not by how few people have them. They aren't NFTs as we once knew them.

Anyone who lived through the dotcom bubble knows any technology with potential has an initial "gold rush" period. It's the period after that where the practical products arise.
