One of the things that is underrated in social media is conversations. This is different that polls or questions to Chat, it’s more like watercooler commentary. Read a post, reply with an associated thought - the same way you “muse together” at dinner, a bar, or with friends at a sports game. Explore ideas.

It's why I hope warpcast will take more from reddit than from twitter in the long run. In organic communication it's not the person who says the first sentence that matters (the OP), it's all about the conversation that ensues. Reddit enables this with endless subthreading, twitter, fc and clones (currently) do not.

Oh interesting: do you mean because it’s more like a linear thread? I always felt like reddit had the same threading as we do here but I’m probably wrong since I don’t use it option. What’s an example of endless subthreading? Do you mean like when you can read multiple “forks” in the thread?
