I still can't believe that I've grown up and now buy red currants instead of just getting them in buckets from my grandmother or from friends of my parents returning from weekends st the country house!

As a kid I used to eat a lot of different fruit, vegetables and berries right from the garden. Now my grandma can't take care of the garden anymore. These memories are priceless. I used to eat a lot of black currant, strawberries and raspberries.

Both of my grandmothers always had a vegetable garden. As a child, I didn't understand why certain berries had to be planted at all, like currants and gooseberries. I wanted it to be all strawberries all year long 😅
