Spot on. Degrowth does not have to mean abject poverty, it means using limited resources in intelligent ways & emphasising what makes us happy over excessive material consumption (social interaction, community, meaningful work) + local resilience.

In many ways d/acc and degrowth overlap. But degrowth is the boogeyman.
