I’m in Australia for the first time. So far it rules. I’ll be road-tripping the east coast this week and next week I’m in Melbourne. Any tips, particularly for Melbourne?

I’m in Melbourne. Hit me up, I’m happy to catch up if we can make it work . For Melbourne you’ll want to: -Ride a tram. Ding! Ding! -Try real coffee for the first time. 😋Recommend Market Lane, St Ali or Dukes. -Check out the food scene, particular East Asian and South East Asian fusion, the classic restaurant recommendation is Chin Chin but there are others. South Melbourne Market is also a good place to try lots of things. -Check out the Cranbourne Botanic Gardens to see native Australian plants , especially south eastern natives in all their glory. -Go to Healesville Sanctuary if you want to see native animals, a good chance to get out of the city too. It’s beautifully landscaped with native plants as well. -Dive into Melbourne’s excellent music scene. The PBS gig guide is your best bet to find something good on while you’re here. https://www.pbsfm.org.au/guide -Great Ocean Road or the Mornington Peninsula if you want a day trip out of the city.

Ahhhh, amazing recommendations!! Thank you! Sounds great, and meeting up sounds fun! I land on the 18th and I’m staying with a friend so once I get there I’ll see what she wants to do and then schedule around that. May DM you when I have more clarity. 🙏
