I know the STRK airdrop has its issues, but I do hope that this has finally started the trend of projects airdropping to ETH stakers (in particular, solo/home stakers). There are a few big airdrops coming such as EigenLayer, Etherfi, Puffer and Swell that will airdrop to ETH stakers - hopefully many more join in!

I am afraid this trend will create a rich get richer ecosystem in Ethereum. That's my worry and it might be unwarranted but it feels real considering you need 32 ETH to stake at home which is a big barrier now, imagine this barrier when ETH is 5 figures.

Solo staking is the best way to maximise decentralisation of the network. Decentralisation is the entire value prop of Ethereum. So we should be encouraging solo staking wherever we can. Financial incentives are the best way. I get the feels though. I can’t afford to solo stake much as I want to.

Yeah I feel you...really stuck b/w a rock and a hard place Financial incentives can end up becoming a big problem if solo stakers normally begin to get outsized provisions compared to others. So it is really good that LSTs and CEXs get provisions and users of apps like sorare or immutable as well.
