We're coming up on 1 year anniversary for many members I'd guess. Mine is Jan or Feb, somewhere around then. How many people here will pay to continue to use FC? Why? What value do you get from Farcaster? Do you like all the changes over the past year? I'm leaning towards ... probably not. I simply don't like the twitter style format, and the lack of interesting content has me just scrolling for a minute and closing the app.

I’ll be renewing. It’s too much fun being part of such a small exciting community. Plus I like living my values and using a onchain social protocol over a corporate social network. I do prefer the longer form Reddit interface though. Potential for a Reddit style client in the future if we make it, but could understand why you might not be prepared to pay and participate using a format you don’t like waiting for that to happen. There’s opportunity to cost to being here, but there’s also opportunity cost in not being here. Early adopters here have been financially rewarded multiple times (OG NFT, initial Degen Airdrop etc). If FC continues to grow I think that will continue to happen.

I also think we will see more innovation coming from FC and early users might get rewarded again. Especially during a bull market
