Quidditch is remarkable for many reasons, one of which is the fact that it’s a mixed gender sport despite having a strong physical component. Are there any other examples of this in sports?

Edging into my personal pet solution to the endless trans people in sport debate. Abolish gendered sports all together. If all sports are mixed gender there’s no issue, some sports will favour men and some will favour women and there’s no justification to exclude trans people. Added bonus: there’s half as much sports news I have to endure.
