This is an interesting point actually Does something like $cbCOIN count as “crypto”? Is that question even important? I feel like it is productive to have some sort of distinction between “native” crypto and tokenized tradfi instruments, but it’s probably not so binary as that Idk

Yeah labels are probably irrelevant and too insular / self referential. If tokens are closer to like, software programs for example, then it is like debating what is software and what isn’t. It’s besides the point, you have a thing that does a thing and that’s what’s relevant
