for those with 8sleep: is there any dependency effect? i.e. after using a temperature controlled mattress for a while, when suddenly deprived of it (e.g. traveling), is your sleep worse than it otherwise would have been?

Not really, but I always savor the first night of sleeping in it after I get back from a trip.
