Did you have fears, uncertainty, and doubt that affected your mental health over the last 3 years? Have crypto doomer timelines robbed you of your joy? The /evmavericks are OGs dating back to a time before anyone knew what an NFT was — before ICOs came and went as the future of finance (remember Golem? What about Augur? OMG do you remember OMG?) A group — comprised at its core— of hardened technologists who understand that Ethereum isn’t going anywhere, and it has no second best. The ones who will patiently explain why 1559 and the merge work together to keep a perpetual issuance budget for security while also reigning in inflation. The ones who will de-FUD the nonsense you hear about “parasitic L2s” and illustrate for you just how fucking bullish blob auctions are going to be. It’s more than “number go up”, it’s a conviction in the future. Make better friends. 🦁

That's awesome! I was concerned about her safety and how she would behave. I'm paranoid she's going to fall onto the rails because she likes to run around the platform. And one time we were walking down the station stairs during rush hour and she asked if we could stop for ice cream on the way home. I said no and she started to throw a tantrum. We were holding up the people behind us so I had to pick her up and carry her down. But overall it's been a great experience and I think she's becoming a train pro!

Nearly two months of commuting with my daughter to kindergarten. I was initially skeptical of taking public transit with a 5 year old, but it's turned out to be the best thing ever. On the train she's always alert and engaged with her surroundings. She likes counting the stops to our station and I occasionally have to remind her to hold on as the train moves. If it's crowded, passengers are usually cool and will give up their seat for her. Here she is wearing my hat.

That link is hilarious -- it was published on September 2022 and contains this line: "the Ethereum blockchain keeps promising to shift from proof of work to the more energy-efficient proof of stake, but this never seems to happen." That's literally when Ethereum moved to PoS.
