Random question for Indians here:

What is the mood in the country regarding the idea of changing the timezone toward something aligned with UTC (either +5 or +6)?

Intuitively it feels like it could be a significant convenience boost given the growing desire and ability to participate more in the international economy

In reality India ideally 
 Should have at least 4 timezones. But I see almost no discussion about it. The Northeast state did get an unofficial +1 hour time zone.
Personally I feel whole world should adopt just 1 time. i.e. UTC but not gonna happen for another century.
