Every time I log into my Wordpress site, I just hate it. It’s so convoluted and the number of clicks and decisions I have to make to post really sucks. I have over 20 years of posts so migrating elsewhere feels too big, but I want to.

I think their primary “persona” are creatives and small businesses. 

I’ve built a site for my wife primarily for blogging and she enjoys it.

Yeah, I’ve considered it. But they are even more focused on people making money. Again, that’s not a bad thing at all. I’m glad they exist and their platform is really nice. I’ve run a few sites for others, but it’s not built for people who just want to write a blog.
