feeling fomo so here goes and curious to hear where I am wrong:

1. loved the pg essay and lmfaoed how everyone wants to put it as a badge on their profile

2. idk why people forget some of the greatest never stepped away: zuck, gates, jobs, noyce, bezos, musk, et al. all were skin in the game, major shareholder for extended periods. all had their own management style that evolved

3. all those blaming vc's actually took a nice secondary/ipo and then a break. when things went to shit are blaming hired guns. the buck always stopped at you, no? who told you to listen to management consultants, coaches or investors with no operating experience? but you liked being called "leadership" and pretending at if you were POTUS. typical playbook you see from management teams when they hire McK/BCG. blame the hired gun

4. "founder mode" will do more harm than good b/c the average village idiot who should've never been a founder in the first place will make things worse for their team
