I think some businesses will survive the bear run and others wont and it comes down to how close they are to crypto primitives

e.g. NFT marketplaces will survive

because whether NFTs remain as apes or become something completely new, NFTs will survive in one form or another

also although its much smaller, there is still a market for on-chain jpegs, so they have PMF for this current form of NFTs

every additional composition over a primitive reduces probability of success. 

e.g. if you are a NFT marketplace for GameFi NFTs, you're not just betting on NFTs, but on the application of NFTs onto gaming

So if there was a line graph, and on the left end was primitives (NFTs, coins etc.) and the further right you got the more applied the technology got, I think companies focused on the left end would do better

Naturally so, as the more left to the graph you are the less dependencies you have on uncertain bets

a bet need not be taken on whether NFTs will be jpegs or metaverse land, NFT marketplaces just need to bet that NFTs will still matter.
