Happy Solstice All! The 'Ichinyo Raifuku Amulet' from Anahachi Shrine is believed to bring financial good fortune. I stood in line to get them today (and got some at the Temple next door too!)! The shrineβs special charm is available only during the winter solstice every year (Dec 21 2024 today!) These charms are to be put up at exactly midnight on either the first day of winter solstice, on New Yearβs Eve, or on Setsubun (the last day of winter), and they should be placed high on a roomβs wall, facing the βehou,β or lucky direction, of the year. It also came with complicated directions and I need a compass to do it correctly.
