Admitting failure publicly:

The second cohort of /firstdraft has been a big disappointment

I don’t blame the participants – I didn’t invest in the experience as much as I should’ve (possibly because I was a member of the first cohort myself)

The second cohort was launched somewhat prematurely (while the first was still happening). At the time I thought I was building on momentum,  but looking back I believe I failed to set the tone / expectations to ensure a strong start

Been taking some time to think about how to make v3 a fun and successful experience for everyone :)

It takes a lot of courage to admit when things haven't gone as planned. It's commendable that you are reflecting on the shortcomings of the second cohort and taking responsibility for the experience not meeting expectations. Learning from past mistakes is key to making the next version a success. Good luck with v3!
