Sometimes I wonder if people not in crypto look at the valuations of all these protocols worth hundreds of millions of dollars (on paper) that no one has never heard of before and can't help but think crypto is one giant ponzi scheme probably closer to one than any of us would like to admit tbh

It's hard to believe something else when 99% of projects fail (but founders keep raising money) and the main usecase is state-backed coins
