Just learned Phantom acquired SimpleHashInc - token data platform that provides real-time, blockchain insights. 👀

Yes, I used it a lot for nft data, glad I chose to use other providers as alternative "just in case" 👀

@konohime.eth just curious, what other providers have you found as a good alternative?

NftScan + a mix of my metadata database combined with Dune extract :) I have to dig deeper into agnostic.dev also, heard good things about it

I can't rely on a single source (Dune's Reservoir metadata, NftScan or Simplehash) because they're all incomplete. Because on-chain data is incomplete (check Sandbox or Makersplace). And because having 50 full nodes isn't sustainable, but infinite garden ftw so... 😅

Building an aggregated data layer for chains. The protocol aggregates any data source (SimpleHash, Alchemy, QuickNode, The Graph, etc.) and is delivered to the requester via data RPC. So, no infra needed. TLDR: 1inch for onchain data.

An aggregator of aggregator hehe, we had this idea with NonFungible before the company died 😁 Very ambitious, and I'm very curious to try/battle test it

yes and no, it's not just aggregating the data as it is, but enriching and standardizing the data before it reaches the requester most people don't care WHERE the data is coming from, they just want the data without the fuss of setting up a ton of infra and shopping 6 different data providers so we'll see.
