fun to finally get on a call with @kompreni, who I’ve built with informally a bunch over the last year. not only is he interested in a lot of stuff that is parallel to what we are working on, but he is proactively seeking ways to build in collaboration with or alongside clanker 

which is always flattering and bullish! people wanting to do this has led so much of what we’ve focused resources and time on since launch

we really respect this impulse and will always work to meet people halfway when they show up with a positive sum mindset. the details can get handled, lots of ways to make code work, its the relationships that are valuable and its super worth it in my mind to prioritize them

The April 1 mechanic is very novel!

I agree sell penalty isn't great, but if project is compelling enough to get you to buy despite that, then you now have the hold mechanic in place.

/stokefire is doing this successfully.

Supporting onchain startups. Farcaster app store (far.store) and LP incentives (rebase.finance)

The insight in this case:

Tokens need better ways to encourage people to hold. 

Rebase tried (is trying) LP incentives but it's a steep climb.

Don't forget your core insights.

I've been working on token models a lot lately. It feels so greenfield. I keep asking myself "what about this way" or "that could be possible" and then I have to remember that THE WHOLE REASON I started down this path was because of a core insight. 

I need to stick to it.
