The new default channels permissions are frustrating. I can't casually cast in /founders or /warpcast or /dev anymore. Which meant I won't cast those thoughts (less "interesting content," @dwr.eth). I imaging others might feel similarly. 2¢

maybe there can be a mechanism where members can invite other members individually and then if it turns out the member been inviting bots - block the whole network / remove membership

I understand where you are coming from, but I think I might have overestimated channels as well. You can still cast to your followers in your home feed and probably get good engagement too. (For smaller accounts it might be more difficult)

fwiw this has been resulting in better content in the main feed (and anecdotally better engagement for channel-less casts than before the channel update) short-term folks will prob need to put their reply-guy hat back on to earn member status in channels they really miss

I'm not even casting. I've read a few channels saying instaban for comments they think off topic or spam etc. I never said much but now I just reply. 🎩 200 $degen for speaking for me 💛
