If 1 storage unit gets 2500 Links, does that mean if I try to follow more the 2501th person, my 1st follow disappears?

Yes unless you have more storage after the grace period (7 days iirc- don’t quote me on that number)

The storage system is kind of bad
No social media buys storage.
