I think that’s a fair take! Dappnode definitely has a first mover advantage. And yea, I agree, the 0.5E per validator could be improved by either making it per user or allow LST as a bond.

been looking for a smoothing pool for my solo nodes. pros/cons:

dappnode:  
+ decent # of nodes
+ cheap bonding
- expensive comission (7% ugh)

smoothly
+ cheap commision (1.5%)
- expensive bonding: 0.5 eth per validator gets pricey quick, 0.5 eth per user would be doable
- # of nodes
