Loved all of Carlo Rovelli’s books, and curious to learn more about your perspectives on the power or powerlessness of the bounded subjects.

If I could get you to read anything this week, it’d be this paper, and to look beyond it’s focus on psychopathologies (a formality based on the medical field in which it was published), and consider how it might be the way most bounded observers experience context framings.

Yes, re canalisation. 

TEMP might not always be so much a matter of zooming out but just a re-route. In the best case I think zooming out/expansion/increased flexibility is part of it though.

Fascinating. I'll get into it but what they are calling "canalization" is a matter of zooming in to a reference frame, imho. And sometimes people can get stuck in one. TEMP perhaps is a matter of zooming out, being able to navigate across reference frames.
