If you have 2 weeks (early-June) in Italy, how would you plan it? (Bonus point if includes wineries :))

@kn is there anything specific you would like to optimize for? Like the historical aspect, beaches, mountains, food?

Probably food and beaches since I’m taking my parents so they can do much outdoor activities like hiking.

Also, is this a vacation or an experience? How much are you willing to get out of your comfort zone?

It’s a vacation. We are willing to get out of comfort zone. We typically like to 30% touristy stuff and 70% local experience eg discovering local bar/restaurant spots. Less on outdoor activities since I’m with my parents.

Based on your criteria, I would to the following: Rome, Siena, Florence, Lucca. You don’t need a car, the food in these regions is incredible - Lucca and Siena are very family friendly yet less touristic.

A beach option is Giglio Island, which is close by
