I think we’re gonna start enabling Clanker pools within Ponder predictions. E.g., - Seed with 10M $bracky - User pays entry fee in $usdc - We convert to $bracky - Pool pays out in $bracky People earn eco tokens, higher return variability, etc.

So usdc goes in from people predicting & they get a project token back if they win? Slow learner here. Trying to figure it out. Demand for project token will be x USDC from y accounts doing the predicting, then the winnings (presumably less some fee) are let’s, assume worst case, dumped. Still demand positive. 🙌 A cynic would say ponder is short the project token (I think 🤷🏻‍♂️gc) eg pronder is selling bracky for the fees collected in usdc that the predictors deposit to buy a call option on the output. Said assuming there will be some fee capture & it’s kept in usdc. FAFO the marginal demand could be worth the increase in variance will be fun yet it cuts both ways 💜 Probably matters more about ponders values & mission is than anything. Had always thought you were doing something more cerebral than entertaining. This approach likely devalues the prediction data exhaust due to the speculative on the underlying in addition to the output info.

Our assumptions are pretty simple -> it makes predicting more interesting for some subset of people who like a specific token. I don’t think there’s much difference in the cerebral element between USDC or X token - you’re still getting a small reward for your insight, with a slight potential variability in value. Also I’d expect these to be like 10-20% of predictions, max. Maybe less. Experimenting!

It’s an interesting play space. Looking forward to seeing how this evolves Is it safe to assume fees are collected in usdc? or ‘could be’? As a deployer do I need to stake anything. Again slow kinesthetic learner. Appreciate what you & the team are doing here. Looks great too.
