PolyAccountCasters - why create a channel when you can create an account for your project, allowing account followers to get your announcements? An account used to cost $12/year, now less. A channel costs $25? Doesn't the calculus change when there are 500+ channels, versus 100-ish channels?

Good Q. Seem like visibility in wc is currently the first, best & only reason to rent a channel here. I haven't rented one yet to see what other benefits there are so hoping other folks chime in.

+curation if your project gets a ton of noise or controversy, maybe it becomes useful to manually curate? also an easy place to add timeouts like TG/Discord have
