I’ve organized a crowdfund to help cover surgery costs for my friend Lada, a sweet 11-year-old pup who recently developed a tumor and needs surgery.

You might know her human, @klusya, as a kind, creative, and essential part of our Farcaster community. Now they could use a little of that kindness back.

Lada’s surgery is necessary to keep her healthy and comfortable in the years ahead. But it comes with an unexpected cost, and that’s where we come in.

We’re raising $1,000 to help cover the surgery and follow-up care. And I’m asking our community to chip in however they can, whether that’s a donation, a recast, or just helping share her story (all make a big difference!).

I’ve given, because this is what community means to me.

Set up is through the Amps Mini App, once you have a wallet connected (easy w/ Warpcast wallet) you see a feed of your casts. You then select the cast you're looking to boost, either with likes or recasts (or both!). That takes you to a screen of your followers and their price per recast, usually $1-$10 but it is set by each person individually. Likes are set at $.50. It also shows a Price/Follower amount that is helpful!

I paid $16.4 USDC for 8 recasts and 8 likes. So they each got $1.50-$3.50 depending on their set price. I chose a mix of accounts that have a high number of followers for reach, and smaller accounts  that I know share dog content to get to like minded folks.

Once payment is done the recasts and likes happen automatically, nothing is needed from the people I paid.

It's hard to gauge results, since I shared organically along with the Amps. @warpcastadmin.eth might have better insight into those metrics!
